Last year in NewYork City, PLWP initiated the first John Lester Domino Award inspired by our own infamous John Lester. The intent of this award was to recognize the positive impact and support that John has made to many neurological disorders including Parkinson's disease. His impact was much like the domino theory. As the dominos began to touch and fall they have had a wonderful rippling affect. We have seen many wonderful people whom have been inspired and are committed to making a difference. The spirit of the John Lester Domino Award will continue because of the goodness of mankind.

PLWP is proud to announce that Carol "pwnkle" McLeod is the first recipient of the John Lester Domino Award. Carol has definitely made a difference, enriching the essence of PLWP and all those individuals she comes in contact with.

Her contributions are many and we have benefited from her selfless dedication and creativity. She developed PLWP's on-line magazine 'Virtuality' which represents each and every memberof PLWP, allowing them to be highlighted for their talents and to share their experiences. As PLWP continued grow she put her heart and energy into enhancing our website from a home to a warm and friendly neighborhood. Carol is a very unique individual and is greatly appreciated for her sensitivity and never-ending tenacity. Thank you Carol, our dear 'pwnkle' for being you but most of all for sharing you with all of us.
