A MESSAGE FROM BRENDA AND NAN

Here we are again!

Well, we’ve talked the talk, now PLWP is walking the walk.

Let’s take a look at PLWP Today!

PLWP Neighborhood

Depending on when you read this, it will either be a “What’s Coming Up?” or an “Accomplishment”; BUT, Labor Day Weekend, we will have a new home.  Monday, September 3 at 9PM EDT we will be launching the PLWP Neighborhood at www.plwp.org.  We’ll meet you in the chat room there.  Those attending between 9PM EDT and midnight will have the opportunity to sign the Guest Book and comment on the site.  These individuals will forever be known as members of the Honorary Neighborhood Watch.  SEE YOU THERE!

Accomplishments

  • PLWP held its first Inaugural Golf Tournament in the Rochester area on August 21st at the Caledonia Country Club. We would like to say a special thank you to Bausch & Lomb who was a major contributor to this event. Due to the generous support of the sponsors and golfer we were able to raise approximately $6,000.00 It was a success due to the efforts of many who volunteered their time and their talents. A big thank you to all!

  • AND THE WINNER IS KATHY WEBSTER…  Congratulations Kathy!
The first on-line fundraiser was huge success due to the efforts of the Fundraising Team Co-Managers, Tim Foley and Carol Stainoff.  Thanks guys!  Tim has since had to step down from this position due to his health.  We are so grateful to Tim for all of his work and unselfish contributions to PLWP.  Joining Carol as Co-Manager is Joel Bell. He is a recent member of PLWP and we are proud to have him on this team.
  • Teams on the MOVE!  Check it out in the PLWP Neighborhood on the Teams page.  Each team is working diligently to make a difference.  If you’re interested in helping one of them, let them know in their room.
