Chances are if you are reading this, you are PWPs (People
With Parkinson's), or a carepartner, friend or family member of someone who does
have PD. We come from many walks of life - and are varying in our chronological
age and our stage of progression of the disease. But one thing for certain - our
lives have been radically changed since our diagnosis! That's what "Virtuality"
is all about. It's a forum of sorts to provide a release for our emotions, a
place to share a little trick you've found, or provides a showcase for our many
creative talents.
It has been several months since an issue of "Virtuality," but we invite you to
view previous issues at
www.plwp.org/virtuality . YOU are
the creators of "Virtuality;" Co-Editor Carol McLeod and I simply put it
together. There are regular contributors and there are one-time submissions. We
invite you to send to us your stories, poems, recipes, helpful tips, or release
of whatever mood you might have. You may want to share a hobby you have,
complete with pictures or even a sound bit of a song you like. Sometimes a
writing may be somber - even sad; others might be upbeat and humorous. Whatever
the case, there should be something here for everyone.
Just remember, "Virtuality" won't exist unless you keep sending stuff! We hope
to publish 4 issues per year, so start thinking about what you want to
share for next time. It's good to be back!
