Editor's Note: Peg
Have you heard all the poop about Parkies seeking relief from their
disease in "unusual ways," such as Reike, nutritional supplements,
acupuncture, fava beans, chioropractice, and massage therapy? Surely, you
have! But have you heard that the medical research field is starting to
take notice??!! Even the NIH (National Institutes of Health) are
interested in not only acknowledging that many of the nonconventional
treatments and therapies are showing effectiveness, but as well their need
to monitor and regulate such practices and supplements. Medical
schools are also including "holistic medicine" as required coursework in
the aspiring physicians' curriculum!
Here are some links you will definitely want to include in your
"favorites," and from time to time Virtuality will feature a specific
practice.

We would like to hear from you if you have participated in any of these
therapies. Email to tnpeg@yahoo.com
and type C&A Medicine
in the subject.
